Bird Watching

Gentled mustangs Libby and Reggie are considered Companion Horses at Montgomery Creek Ranch because they are not suitable for riding. They have been gentled and love being with other horses and people. Enrichment programs like painting provides them with different experiences and gives them the chance to connect and bond with humans.

Painting is the expression of ideas and emotions. We all know horses have emotions, but we rarely give them a chance to show us a creative side. Some of our horses have big ideas - and they love to paint! Reggie & Libby are working with a bright palette of vivid colors. The painting are abstract and highly expressionistic.
